Amanta, Gravita Expand Gujarat Footprint With New Facilities

Amanta Healthcare and Gravita India have expanded their Gujarat operations with new manufacturing and recycling capacities, strengthening their presence across healthcare and the circular economy.

Amanta Healthcare has started commercial production at SteriPort Line 3 at its Kheda campus, raising annual large volume parenteral (LVP) capacity from 6.6 crore to 11.6 crore bottles. Part of the construction and equipment costs was funded through IPO proceeds. The company has also commissioned a 10.8 MWp captive solar power plant at Matar, Kheda, aimed at lowering energy costs.

Meanwhile, Gravita India has commissioned a 6,000 MTPA lithium-ion battery recycling pilot facility at Mundra, marking its entry into the battery recycling business. The company plans to invest Rs 1,700 crore by FY29 across new and existing recycling operations, targeting more than 8,00,000 MTPA of total installed capacity under its Vision 2030 strategy.
